We are learning that this is the Savior’s work. His hand is in the very details of our lives. We found out a week before the visit that we were to organize a visit for the Apostle at the Humanitarian Project.
It was humbling and amazing how many tender mercies came about. It strengthened our faith to trust the Savior; to go and do, act and that help comes in different ways. Thoughts came to do certain things, we had so much help from others, and we continued to study from the Book of Mormon and teachings of the Living Prophets, sometimes alittle more than others.
Studying daily continues to help us build a stronger foundation to have faith in Jesus Christ and to trust in Him. This brings about a feeling of calmness and peace.
We observed how Elder Stevenson and his wife ministered to the people here. They were calm, took time for one by one making connections by giving eye contact, saying individual names, listening, asking questions and testifying of truths and the love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ has for them.
We love serving as missionaries here in Dar es Salaam. We love the people and continue to learn from them.
This experience was a life changing experience for us and the people here. We are grateful to have had them come and to feel the love of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ through one of his Apostles and servants. It was good.

It was very exciting to have Elder Stevenson, Elder Ardern and their wives visit one of the health center humanitarian projects that we are involved in Dar es Salaam.
